Bishop Ifedola Okupevi - Diocese of Lagos

Behind the Vision...

The LoveFest initiative stems from the heartfelt desire of The Rt. Revd. Dr. Ifedola Senasu Gabriel Okupevi, Diocesan Bishop of Lagos (Anglican Communion), to engage all demographics within the diocese in meaningful ways. His vision is to nurture individuals and keep them rooted in biblical teachings, ensuring they live righteous lives that attract God’s blessings. By commissioning this Valentine’s Day conference, the Bishop aims to promote godliness, social interaction, and synergy among youths, singles, single parents and young couples, fostering a community centered on faith and love.

The LoveFest Experience...

LoveFest is an invitation to grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially in a safe and welcoming environment. From engaging workshops to heartwarming discussions, attendees can shed emotional burdens, embrace healing, and connect authentically with like-minded individuals. LoveFest About Us

The Organisers...

LoveFest is brought to life by the Diocese of Lagos through collaborative efforts of DACA (Diocesan Action Committee on AIDS), Women’s and Girls’ Organizations, the Youth Directorate, Boys’ Brigade, and the Christian Singles’ Fellowship. These groups work together to create an inclusive space for spiritual growth and community building

LoveFest 2.0: Love is safe

This year’s theme is inspired by 1 John 4:18, which says

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love”

Yes, “Love is Safe”, because where God’s love rules, fear loses its grip, hearts find healing and relationships grow in truth. In a generation that believes “real love is gone” or “love means lust,” we are here to change the narrative; there is still love that is pure, patient, kind, strong and safe.

Join us for powerful conversations, honest Q&A, meaningful connections, fun moments, and practical wisdom needed to build a rewarding Christ-centered relationships at a time like this.
